Anthony Olufemi Joshua beat Klitschko in the 11th round in a competition that kept all 90,000 in Wembley and those watching around the world at the edge of their seats. Klitschko felt the force in the fifth as he was knocked down by joshua but had to put up a splendid performance in the sixth and knocked Joshua onto the canvas. Joshua was on the brink of his of losing his first fight.
It was a close fight with both boxers trading blows early in the rounds. Klitschko looked thinner and fitter than he had ever been. Joshua on the other hand looked really fit but a bit heavier than he has been in other fights making some commentators argue that the added weight might be a disadvantage in the latter rounds.
Joshua remains undefeated as a professional. The former Olympic gold medalist has had 19 fights since he became a professional and he has won all his fights. Klitschko is the only fighter who has really tested joshua so far and has taken Joshua past the 7th round. Who will be next for Joshua? Seems like Tyson Fury might be on the cards.
