Some music megastars like Emeli Sande, Liam Payne and Stormzy have been brought together by promoter, Simon Cowell, to release a charity single to raise money for the Grenfell victims.
The single will be aired tonight, Wednesday the 21th of July before Coronation Street on ITV. It starts with a rap "That could have been me up there.....plain tee up there, with my friends on the ground trying to see up there, I just hope that you’re resting and you’re free up there" sang by Stormzy.
Some of the star studded list of artists on this charity single include 5 After Midnight, Angel, Anne-Marie, Bastille, Craig David, Deno, Donae’o, Ella Eyre, Ella Henderson, Geri Halliwell, Emeli Sandé, Fleur East, Gareth Malone & The Choir for Grenfell, James Arthur, James Blunt, Jessie J, Kelly Jones – Stereophonics, Labrinth, Leona Lewis, Liam Payne, London Community Gospel Choir, Louis Tomlinson, Mr Eazi, Nathan Sykes, Nile Rodgers, Omar, Paloma Faith, Pixie Lott, Rita Ora, Robbie Williams, Shakka, Tokio Myers, Tom Grennan, Tony Hadley, Tulisa and WSTRN.
The song had its radio premiere today at 8am and is now available to buy and stream. All the proceeds will go towards the Grenfell relief effort. Listeners will also be able to donate on the song's official website.
