From the energetic beats of their drummers to the melodic tunes of their flutists, every performance is a journey through the rich cultural landscape of the Igbo people.

Beyond their performances, Nganga Igbo Performing Arts is committed to making a tangible impact on the communities they engage with. They regularly visit schools across South Wales, conducting workshops that introduce students to the beauty and diversity of Igbo culture. These workshops are interactive and immersive, allowing students to learn traditional dance steps, try their hands at drumming, and listen to captivating stories from Igbo folklore.

Nganga Igbo Performing Arts has had the privilege of participating in numerous cultural and community events across South Wales. Their performances at the Cardiff Mela, the Refugee Week event in Cardiff, Diversity Week, African Day Newport and Black History Week have been highlights of their journey. Each event has provided them with a platform to share their unique culture with a wider audience and to celebrate the rich tapestry of diversity that defines South Wales and the United Kingdom at large.

Chigozie Oguejiofor, Chinedu Chimodo, Ifemelumma Nweri, and Sandra Nwaizugbo are at the heart of this mission, bringing their talents and passion to every performance and workshop. Nganga Igbo Performing Arts is more than just a performing group; they are cultural ambassadors, educators, and traditional dancers.
